Diagnostics and laboratory tests
blood count, differential leukogram, sedimentation, hepatic tests (AST, ALT, GMT, bilirubin), cholesterol (total, HDL, LDL), triacylglycerols (body fats), urea, serum creatinine test, uric acid, chemical urine test, blood pressure, heart pulse, electrocardiograph, body weight, glycemic profile, X-Ray examination.
Healing treatments
individual therapeutic programme based on guest’s health and physician’s prescription which includes up to 30 treatments per week (7 nights). The therapeutic programme includes the optimal selection from more than 60 various treatments available at Spa Piešťany. These treatments are selected from the groups below:
- treatments using the unique thermal mineral water and healing sulfurous mud (mud pack, mud pool, mirror pool, individual tub baths)
- special rehabilitation using group therapeutic physical training
- other treatments based on a physician’s prescription composed from rehabilitation, massages, hydrotherapy, heat therapy, electrotherapy, oxygen therapy, carbon therapy and other treatments
