Traction therapy uses manually or mechanically created forces to stretch and mobilize the spine. Traction may alleviate back pain by stretching tight spinal muscles that result from spasm and widen intervertebral foramen to relieve nerve root pain.
Each of our guests is unique and what works well for one may not be appropriate for another. Therefore, each prospective guest is carefully evaluated prior to reatment. This assessment enables the therapist to make decisions about the type of traction to be utilized, the force/weight of distraction, and the duration of treatment
Mechanical traction is applied pulling with a weight or on a sloping traction table taking advantage of the pulling force of the guest's weight caused by gravity.
Tractions in water uses our guests own body weight as well as the resistance of water to promote healing and regeneration.

Instrument-assisted tractions are performed using special equipment which works through the use of intermittent tractions with pre-set as well as traction force. The treatment lasts 20 minutes.
